BS-LT Carbon Fiber Laminate
"A unidirectional BS-LT carbon fiber laminate is designed for field lamination with BS-ER 180L epoxy adhesive. This combination creates the carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite. The composite is used for various structural purposes including reinforce structures such as concrete, masonry or steel that require additional support to with stand heavy loads, seismic forces or other stress.”

DESIGN:
BS-LT carbon fiber laminate aplication design must be designed by a design professional. The detailing of BS-LT shall be designed in accordance with recognized design guidelines/codes. APPLICATION:
1. Setting out according to design
2. Remove painting of the concrete surface and polish, blow out the floating dust with compressed air.
3. Prepare Epoxy Adhesive (BS-ER 180L) : Mix component Aand B evenly in bucket. Mix ratio by weight A: B = 2:1.
4. Paste the epoxy adhesive (BS-ER 180L) onto the surface of carbon fiber plate evenly, please avoid bubbles.
5. Paste the carbon fiber plate onto the concrete surface and remove extra epoxy near the plate, and fix with steel framework.
6. Waiting for the epoxy to cure, curing time should be no less than 24 hours at room temperature.
Storage & Handling: Store the material in a cool place away from direct sunlight or any source of ignition and fire. Keep away from the reach of children in a well ventilated place.
Health & Safety Precautions: Wear protective glove, goggles, and nose masks while handling and using the material. In case of splashes on the skin and contact with eyes wash thoroughly with plenty of water. In case of ingestion and inhalation remove the personnel to fresh air. Seek medical advice in all the above cases. The disposal of excess or spilled material shall be carried out in accordance with local regulations.
